1. Overview
At Go Mad Scientist, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This Returns & Refund Policy outlines your rights and our obligations under New Zealand law including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
2. Change of Mind Returns
We do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, including:
- Incorrect selection
- No longer wanting the product
- Finding the product cheaper elsewhere
If we haven't physically sent out the product to you we will honor a refund. Once this has left our warehouse we can't accept change of mind returns.
Please choose carefully before purchasing.
3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 you are entitled to a remedy if a product is faulty or not as described.
Depending on the situation, we will offer:
- replacement
- repair
- full refund
We will cover all reasonable return shipping costs for faulty or incorrect items.
5. Refunds
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Please allow 3–7 business days for processing once approved
- Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to complete the transaction
6. Order Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund
- Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled
